Our Story
Moorside Brewery is a small, family-run brewery located on what was H.M. Factory Gretna, the largest ammunitions factory in WWI. Moorside was the codename penned by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle for H.M. Factory Gretna; today Moorside Farm is where we live and brew our beers.
The First Brewery in Scotland®
ok! so we have only been around for a few months but as you pass over the border from England on the M74 we are the first brewery in Scotland.
